Our team, Vlogit, gathered around to try Asian cuisine at Auntie Fung, Gurgaon. Talking about the interiors of the restaurant, which were so beautiful and the chairs were colorful and they also had a few interesting photo frames.
Also by the window, some books were kept there along with beautiful showpieces, the staff was really kind and when we were contemplating over what to eat the owner came over and helped us decide on the menu in a much detailed way by letting us know what specials they served, what comprises in a dish etc.
We tried out Burmese Khowsey, Char Sui Bao, Teriyaki Glazed Stuffed Mushroom and Chicken Dim sum at Auntie Fung. All of these dishes had a unique taste and flavor. Burmese khow suey is a one-dish soup meal which was really tasty and creamy and had a boiled egg on top, and it was served with condiments kept on the side of the dish, like there was lemon just to add a tangy taste to it and chili peppers to make it spicy. It was delicious and the food was fresh and hot when it arrived.
Char Sui Bao dish is a Cantonese cuisine and it is a Cantonese barbecued -pork-filled bun and which was filled with barbeque flavored char siu pork. Overall the dish was tasty as it had the barbecue flavor in it and it was perfect for Pork lovers. Auntie Fung’s staff in Gurugram cooked the dish really well.
Teriyaki Glazed Stuffed Mushrooms was really tasty, the mushrooms didn’t look interesting until we ate this dish, it was perfect! And while eating, we could get the taste of all the ingredients in our mouths and every flavor blended really well together.
Vlogit gurgaon recommends you to head over to Auntie Fung for getting an essence of true Asian flavors and cultures not only through their food but with the ambiance as well.
